Administration and Buildings Ministry: provide and maintain functional, dignified and attractive facilities. More
Art and Environment Ministry: enhances the environment using they early theme and rituals as inspiration. More
Finance Ministry: monitor the administration, financial and physical (buildings and grounds) aspects of the parish. More
Liturgical Ministers: enhances our liturgies as Welcomers, Lectors and Coffee Hosts. More
Music Ministry: assists and supports the community in its liturgies, services and events with music. More
Ritual Planning Ministry: plans rituals and themes to celebrate each liturgical year in the light of the present day. More
Social Ministry: plans events for members to be in community with one another ... sharing life, laughter and love. More
SPURR: functions as a catalyst to encourage living the beatitudes in everyday living. More

Formation and Outreach


Adult Formation offers programs that are welcoming, accessible, and effective in connecting members to our supportive and safe community. Its style and content will be both flexible and dynamic, serving the varied and developing needs of our members and the broader community. More
Graduate Theologial Foundation is an undergraduate school of religious education and theology. Cloverdale offers degrees in Fine Arts (Media Studies), Mediation, Religious Education, Sacred Music and Theology. St. John Fisher is a satellite campus so you don’t have to go far to earn either a Bachelor of Religious Education or a Bachelor of Theology. More
FaithWorks!: This Commission reaches out to people both within our SJF community and to the global community through education, support and service. More
Justice & Peace: facilitate the education of the community around Catholic Social Teaching principles, current events regarding injustices and how the Catholic Social principles should apply in this context for conscience formation. More
Outreach: Provide opportunities for the larger community to assist those in need by sharing our resources of time, talent and treasure and connecting these activities with Catholic Social Teaching. More
PeaceXPeace Ministry: A gathering of women concerned with promoting peace and non-violence within our local community and extending it throughout the world. More

PeaceXPeace Ministry: A gathering of women concerned with promoting peace and non-violence within our local community and extending it throughout the world. More
Women’s Spirituality: Monthly presentations for women on topics pertaining to women or on topics they have chosen, presented by guest speakers. More

Health and Well-being


Companion Ministry: volunteers take Eucharist to shut-ins, ill, and disabled. They visit and pray with those who are lonely, homebound or in the hospital. More
Earth Care Ministry: Support and promote earth-friendly practices in the parish, homes and workplaces that will heal and nurture all life on earth. More
Health Ministry: Identify health care needs and provide assistance and support to community members. More
Prayer Shawl: knit or crochet prayer shawls, enjoy fellowship and pray as we work. The shawls are given to anyone in need of care and prayers. More
Scripture Study: lectionary based scripture study at which participants discuss and reflect on the upcoming week’s readings that will be proclaimed at the liturgy. More
Praying Companions (prayer group): A dedicated group of powerful pray-ers committed to praying daily for the needs, cares, and concerns of the SJF faith family, and for specific requests and intentions of chapel members. More
